    FREE Emergency Plan Training for Schools, Regional Law Enforcement and Community Stakeholders


    Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) is offering the following FREE workshop:

    Developing Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs) with K-12 101 Train-the-Educator (TtE) Training


    When: Wednesday, January 31, 2018
    Time: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (Registration begins at 8:00 am)
    Where: The International School 025 SW Sherman Street Portland, OR 97201
    Cost: NO CHARGE

    An expert team will provide an overview of a recommended six step planning process to create a high- quality school EOP, which includes the following:
    Step 1: Forming a Collaborative Planning Team
    Step 2: Understanding the Situation
    Step 3: Determining Goals and Objectives
    Step 4: Plan Development
    Step 5: Plan Preparation, Review, and Approval
    Step 6: Plan Implementation and Maintenance

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
    Audiences interested in creating, revising, or enhancing school EOPs; school staff who serve, or will serve, on their school or school district's EOP planning team; and other interested community stakeholders, including first responders, emergency medical services personnel, law enforcement, and others.

    There is no charge to attend, and even if participants do not have an opportunity to register in advance of the training, on-site registration will be available if space is available.
