This course teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders in communities. This training is helping to spread the movement of making MHFA as prevalent as CPR & First Aid Training!

NAMI Eastside is fortunate to have this opportunity to partner with Cathy Callans, who is a licensed mental health counselor working on the Eastside. She recently received a grant from Providence St. Joseph Health to offer these valuable Mental Health First Aid trainings in King County! Mental Health First Aid USA is managed by the National Council for Behavioral Health.

Dress: Dress comfortably for the day and for moving around.

Lunch Provided: Sandwiches, fruit, cheese, and sparkling water. Please notify NAMI if you have any food allergies that we should be aware of.

We still have a few spots left if you can help spread the word about this great opportunity. Thank you to Cathy Callans, our MHFA Trainer!
