• Final Logistics for our Volunteers for the SO USA Games!

Dear Wonderful Students, Teachers, Principals, Families and Parishioners!

The countdown is closing in for the start of the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games hosted in Seattle, WA this July 1- 6, 2018. It's time to #RiseWithUs! Let's celebrate the 1st 50 years of Special Olympics and vision together what inclusion could look like in every faith community over the next 50 years!

On behalf of the Diversified Learners Committee (DLC), we extend our heartfelt thanks for ALL the many ways your school and parish communities have been preparing for the Games! It's SO CLOSE! Just a few final items......

IF you are part of the mile-long CHEERLINE on Sunday, July 1st, you are welcome to wear RED/WHITE/ or BLUE shirts to be in the spirit. IF you school or parish community has a school-wide or parish-wide t-shirt to represent your community, you can sure wear that to represent your Cheerline team!

We are so grateful to have Katie Niemer, 7th grade teacher at Sacred Heart School, Bellevue, as our official DL photographer for the Games! Katie will be watching for YOU and trying to capture some of our Archdiocese of Seattle (holy) spirit ... SO SMILE!
